We place wellbeing at the centre of our decision-making so that teachers are happy to come to work and feel supported in their role.Due to the retirement of the post holder, the Governors are seeking to appoint an exceptional, energetic and ambitious Vice Principal to join our School Leadership Team. In a role of critical importance to the development of excellent teaching and learning that will secure good outcomes for all our students, you will work with members of the SLT under the direction of the Principal and be responsible for the development of teaching and learning at St Peter’s through ITT and provision of data to stakeholders.You will be responsible for:• The strategic development of the Training School (Initial teacher training and Early Career Teachers)• Organisation of performance management through School IP• To support the teaching and learning lead in embedding of Catholic Social Teaching through CPD and training.• Ensuring that school policies are updated in line with current legislation and within the time frames required• Staff well-being and personnel issues• Oversight of transition and liaison with Catholic Partner Primary Schools and other stakeholders• Providing data for both SLT and governorsWe welcome applications from talented and experienced leaders. As an outstanding teacher and leader with demonstrable leadership experience, you will make a significant contribution to the leadership and success of our school.
