About Our School

HLTA - Higher Level Learning Support Assistant Reading Coordinator

The support staff of St Angela’s are first and foremost hard working, forward thinking and cared for staff that demonstrate their outstanding nature each day. The Higher Level Teaching Assistant — Reading Co-ordinator will lead, develop and deliver a targeted reading intervention programme for students in Key Stages 3 and 4 who are working below their chronological reading age. This post requires previous HLTA experience, the ability to impact literacy skills and be able to work sensitively with children who have learning needs.
