We are looking for an outstanding SENCo, who can lead, develop and enhance the teaching and pastoral support strategies for our relavtivley small SEND cohort within our dedicated Ursula Suite.You will:evaluate the quality of teaching and support, and develop the most effective provision for studentscreate a vision, sense of purpose and pride in the Ursula Suite maintaining a secure environment in which purposeful learning and support can take placeact as a role model with high expectations of all staff and studentscreate an achievement culture including rewards, identification of progression routes and successesbe accountable for the strategic direction, leadership and management of the SEND support provided from the Ursula Suite including the development of related policies, plans and targetsbe accountable for the highest standards of achievement for SEND studentsPromote the highest standards of Teaching & Learning as the Lead Learner in pedagogy and support practiceeffectively line manage the SEND staff to ensure there is a positive system of care, support and social and personal developmentSalary will be commensurate with experience and areas of expertise.
