About us: At St. Vincent's, we understand the unique challenges faced by individuals with visual impairment and hearing impairments. We are committed to providing a tailored educational experience that meets the diverse needs of our pupils. We have a dedicated team of highly skilled Qualified Teachers of the Visually Impaired (QTVI’s), support staff and specialist staff working together to deliver an ambitious and comprehensive curriculum that is both accessible and challenging - this includes both access to the National Curriculum and all other areas of Curriculum Framework for pupils with Vision Impairment (CFVI).

  • Be able to show the vision of the school is clearly articulated, shared, and sustain school improvement.
  • Demonstrate the vision and values in everyday work and practise.
  • Motivate and work with others to create a shared cultural climate.
  • Encourage innovation and the use of appropriate new technologies to achieve excellence.
  • Ensure that strategic planning takes account of diversity, values and experience of school and its pupils.
  • Enable a constant and continuous school wider focus on achievement for every child.
  • Is passionate about making a positive difference in our pupils’ lives, within an inclusive safe environment.
