About Our School
St Patrick's Catholic College is a mixed 11–16 Roman Catholic secondary school within the Nicholas Postgate Catholic Academy Trust, serving the Thornaby and wider Stockton-on-Tees community. Rooted in the Gospel motto “Primum quaerite regnum dei” – “Seek ye first the kingdom of God” – its mission emphasises faith, family and future, encouraging students to grow academically and in character within a caring Christian environment. The school received a Good Ofsted rating in its most recent full inspection in September 2021, reflecting strengths in the quality of education, behaviour, personal development and leadership. Pupil Engagement Officer
PEO’s take a lead on ensuring behaviour protocols are effective and consistently delivered within the school environment or identified areas; ensure every child is able to circulate safely throughout the school; and take responsibility for duty points and support and supervise behaviour both within and outside the school on a daily basis to include before school, morning break, lunchtime and after school. St Patrick’s Catholic College is part of Nicholas Postgate Catholic Academy Trust, a family of 32 primary schools, and 6 secondary schools. With more than 12,300 pupils and 1,500 staff, the Trust is now one of the largest Catholic Multi Academy Trust in the UK. Ongoing professional development from within the Trust provides our employees with great opportunities for development and progression.
