About the Role

Due to members of our leadership team progressing to senior roles in other schools, we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced teacher who will:

• Lead English across the school, driving excellence in literacy, reading, and writing.

• Develop and implement a high-quality English curriculum that inspires a love of literature.

• Support staff development in English teaching, ensuring engaging and effective lessons.

• Monitor pupil progress and attainment, using data to inform best practice.

• Work closely with SLT and colleagues to promote outstanding teaching and learning.

• Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons, creating a nurturing environment where all children thrive academically and personally.

Who We Are Looking For:

• A qualified teacher (QTS) with at least four years of experience and a strong background in teaching English – teaching experience can be in EYFS, KS1 or KS2.

• A passionate teacher who is ready to take the next step in their leadership journey.

• Someone with deep subject knowledge in English and the ability to inspire pupils and colleagues. • A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ready to contribute to a supportive school community.

• An innovative and forward-thinking teacher who is committed to achieving excellence.
