This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative and supportive College. You will monitor the spiritual and moral guidance of students in line with the Catholic ethos of the college and mission statement. You will do this by knowing each and every student within the allocated Year group/s, academically and pastorally. by meeting with them and discussing progress on a regular basis. Build effective relationships with families and ensure that communication is maintained and tracked. Be aware of all student groups and their subsequent needs in liaison with senior staff and tutors. To refer to the school leads as appropriate e.g. SENDCO, Assistant Principal for PP and Designated Safeguarding Lead for safeguarding matters. Meet with parents of students with student learning plans to review strategies alongside the HOY and SENCO (where possible). We are seeking to recruit examination invigilators to supervise our students taking internal and external examinations throughout the year, but mainly during the Summer examination period (May/June). Examination Invigilators work under the overall guidance of our Examinations Officer and will: We are looking to recruit candidates who have good communication skills, are reliable and have a calm demeanour. Hours of work are flexible and are agreed, with the Examinations Officer, in advance of the commencement of the exam period.
