St Mary’s is a Catholic Primary school set in the heart of Chiswick for girls and boys aged 3-11 years. If you are passionate about Primary education and have a proven record of excellence in supporting children’s learning and development, this is the post for you. Our children are motivated and love learning. Our parents and School Community are extremely supportive. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and experienced teacher who will:

  • Be a practising Catholic, who is committed to upholding and developing the Catholic ethos of the school
  • A qualified teacher (QTS) with at least 3 years of experience in a Catholic school – this can be in EYFS, KS1 or KS2
  • Lead RE and RSE across the school, ensuring a quality faith-based curriculum, with the confidence to inspire pupils and colleagues
  • Support prayer and liturgical life in school, including Masses, Assemblies and Liturgies
  • Work closely with the headteacher, parish and Diocese to promote the Catholic ethos of the school
  • Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons, creating a nurturing environment where all children thrive academically, socially and spiritually
  • Play a key role in developing pupils’ moral, ethical and religious understanding, preparing them for their future as responsible citizens
  • Have a deep understanding of the RE curriculum and the ability to support and inspire colleagues and pupils
  • Be a passionate teacher with strong leadership potential – whether you are an experienced leader, or early in your leadership journey, we will invest in your development
  • Be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ready to contribute to a supportive school community
  • Joining a team of dedicated, dynamic and caring staff
