The Trustees of the Rosary Trust and the Governors of St Joseph's Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint an inspirational and dedicated Head of School from 1st January 2027. St Joseph's is a caring, friendly school and community where our Catholic Ethos is central to all we do. Our new Head of School will be well-supported by all stakeholders and will have the benefit of a close network of colleagues in the CMAT. Our new Head of School will work with the Local Governing Body and the Rosary Trust to shape the strategic direction of the school, and will be responsible for day to day leadership and management of St Joseph's. As and when required during term time – particularly during May and June Public Examination period but also at other times during the school year. Rate of Pay: £13.64 per hour (plus £1.65 per hour for holiday pay) based on LGPS Scale 2 Point 5 (Fringe). This role involves working as part of our invigilation team supervising examinations in school, invigilators have a key role in upholding the integrity of the external examination/assessment process Hours and availability of work are both variable and flexible with key periods of employment during the months of September, February, May and June. Training will be provided. The successful candidate would be someone willing to work flexibly in a team under the management of the Exams Officer. The Governors of Holy Family Catholic Primary School wish to appoint an applicant with demonstrable experience as an excellent Catholic practitioner and teacher for this rewarding deputy headteacher role.  The successful candidate will be an ambitious team player with a commitment to continuous school improvement, who will nurture the children and contribute to leading the staff to excel. We are keen to appoint a Deputy Headteacher who will ensure that Holy Family continues to provide a broad curriculum, rooted in Gospel values. As a practicing Catholic, your drive and vision will help us continue to maximise the development and achievements of all our children, as well as contributing to our local community and wider Trust community of schools.
