Are you an experienced and dedicated individual with a passion for helping students manage their behaviours through self regulation, re-engage with learning, and succeed in school? Do you have the experience and skills to make a real difference in a nurturing educational environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.
We are seeking a calm, consistent, self-motivated Support Assistant – Level 4, to support students in our Inclusion Room. This is a vital role in our pastoral structure, helping to provide immediate self regulation and behaviour support while working to address the root causes of disengagement and disruption.
The Support Assistant - Level 4, will supervise and support students in the Inclusion Room who have not met expectations of the school or classroom environment; promoting positive behaviour, reflection, and reintegration into mainstream lessons. They will maintain a calm, structured and respectful environment that supports learning and accountability. They will work 1:1 or in small groups with students on behaviour strategies and emotional regulation and liaise with teaching staff, pastoral leaders, and the SENCO to support behaviour plans.
We welcome applications from professional, conscientious individuals, who are confident in de-escalating challenging behaviours and establishing excellent relationships with our students, someone with high expectations that encourage them to fulfil their potential. You must be a confident communicator and feel passionately about making a difference in the lives of young people.
